se confinaient \u00e0 la petite enclave vis\u00e9toise sur la rive droite de la Meuse. Elle n\u2019a donc jamais eu besoin des services de membres charg\u00e9s de lui ouvrir le passage sur des terrains difficiles. Cependant, au milieu du 19<sup>e<\/sup> si\u00e8cle, la Compagnie des Arquebusiers s\u2019est dot\u00e9e d\u2019un corps de sapeurs. Ses membres \u00e9taient issus de la section des grenadiers. Il s\u2019agissait donc d\u2019un ajout purement esth\u00e9tique qui permettait, en outre, de mieux faire correspondre la Compagnie au mod\u00e8le des r\u00e9giments de grenadiers fran\u00e7ais et belges de l\u2019\u00e9poque.<\/p><p>En 1985, Les Francs Arquebusiers, qui jusqu\u2019alors n\u2019en comptaient pas dans leurs rangs, ont enrichi leur cort\u00e8ge d\u2019une section de 16 sapeurs pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s d\u2019un sergent-major. Il semble donc qu\u2019un ou plusieurs tambourinaires rythmaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 les marches de la Compagnie \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque. Actuellement, le corps des Tambours des Francs Arquebusiers compte 16 membres sous le commandement\u00a0 d\u2019un Tambour-Major. Actuellement, s\u2019il arrive que l\u2019un ou l\u2019autre de ses membres fasse partie de la Compagnie, la plupart des instrumentistes sont recrut\u00e9s par le chef de musique responsable de l\u2019animation musicale des cort\u00e8ges constitu\u00e9e, pour l\u2019essentiel, d\u2019airs traditionnels de la Compagnie.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div
